My name is Shorai Matambanadzo, I'm from the North Eastern border of Zimbabwe and grew up in Chitungwiza, and I'm a versatile mixed media artist who uses wire, stone, paint, wood, leather, animal bones, to create one of eclectic pieces. I also widened my artistic horizon at the world renowned Peter Birch School of Art in Harare, Zimbabwe, which is specializes in painting.l have done a number of collaborations showcasing a range of my skills including working with Camilla Douraghy (Switzerland),Roman Schoni (Switzerland) and Tozivei Madzima (Zimbabwe,Switzerland).l have also worked with Ska Sebata creating avante garde jewellery collections all from upcycled materials. l have showcased my jewellery on many platforms and was named #Zedlabel Sustainable fashion winner in 2014-2015.
Some of my work has exhibited at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Harare and Bulawayo. Also in Tobiès & Silex Gallery in Germany, in Holland and Canada.
My passion is to make the world a better place through my art and bring change in the lives of young people using art as a platform for change hence thats why l am also a co-founder of Rise and shine clubs that aim to bring positive change in the lives of young people!

I find my inspiration in nature for example flora and fauna, rocks and mountains, clouds, rain, human and everything that is heavenly created.

I'm actually in Victoria Falls to appreciate and improve my art by integrating the surrounding wildlife and culture.
I'm a residential artist at my homestead in BH29 in Victoria Falls.
